President & Chief Executive Officer
Rusty Wiley is President and Chief Executive Officer at Datasite.
Upon joining the company in 2014, Rusty led the successful transformation of the company from a collection of financial communications and print-related businesses into a leading, global M&A SaaS technology company.
In March 2020, the company re-branded to Datasite. This achievement was the culmination of a journey to streamline operations, upgrade go-to-market capabilities, and launch a market-leading platform backed by world-class product, sales and service teams.
Under Rusty’s stewardship, in 2019 the company completed its most successful year yet with revenue growth exceeding 30%, profit margins reaching their highest levels and market share hitting a historical peak.
Before joining Datasite, Rusty held a variety of executive roles across sales, consulting, and general management at IBM Corporation. Most recently, he was General Manager, Banking & Financial Markets for the technology company.
Rusty holds an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business, and a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science from East Carolina University.

Chief Revenue Officer
Todd Albright is Worldwide Chief Revenue Officer for Datasite, a role he has held since April 2015.
In his role as CRO, Todd is responsible for leading the global sales strategy for the company, managing a global sales organization of nearly 400 sales professionals, and supporting clients in over 170 countries.
Prior to joining Datasite, Todd held senior sales leadership roles at several high growth firms. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President & Head of Americas Sales at FIS Global. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing for ACTIV Financial Systems as well as Vice President and Head of Global Financial Services Accounts for Intralinks (now part of SS&C). He started his career at Ernst & Young.
Todd is active in professional and community organizations. He currently serves as a fintech venture advisor to Broadhaven Capital Partners and previously served as a Trustee for Park Children’s Day School in New York.
He holds a BA in Public Policy from Duke University and an AAS in International Economics from Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nurnberg. He has also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School.

Chief Customer Success Officer
Deven Lindemann is Chief Customer Success Officer at Datasite, a position she has held since July 2022.
In this role, Deven is responsible for the company’s global service organization, ensuring customers receive best in class service and support around the clock. This includes working closely with the product and sales teams to identify and solve client requirements and execute global training programs to support agile product releases.
Deven has been with Datasite since 1993 in a variety of leadership roles, including Executive Vice President - Client Services, Managing Director of Transaction & Compliance in London, and Vice President of Datasite client services in St. Paul.

Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Corporate Strategy
Doug Cullen is Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Corporate Strategy at Datasite, a leading global SaaS technology provider for M&A professionals, which empowers dealmakers around the world with the tools they need to succeed across the entire deal lifecycle.
In this role, which he has held since 2018, Doug is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development and execution of Datasite’s marketing initiatives, including market research, pricing, product marketing, field marketing, public relations, advertising and communications in support of Datasite’s sales objectives.
Doug joined Datasite in 2015 as Head of Americas Sales. Before joining Datasite, Doug held several sales and marketing leadership roles at high growth technology companies, including New York-based Ceros, Inc., a cloud-based content marketing solution provider, New York-based Stylesight Inc., and IntraLinks, an SSC company that provides virtual data rooms.
Doug holds a BA in Biology and Society from Cornell University.

Chief Product Officer
Thomas Fredell is Chief Product Officer of Datasite, a position he has held since 2015.
As Chief Product Officer, Thomas is responsible for all aspects of product management, design and engineering, including driving product growth and innovation of Datasite.
Thomas has deep leadership experience in finance and technology. Prior to joining Datasite in 2015, he was CEO of SmithCo Investments. Before that, he was the CTO for several technology and fintech companies, including Snag and IntraLinks.
Thomas is also an inventor and entrepreneur. He co-founded and led a SaaS-based company, Cambridge Technology Vision, where he invented, built and launched the first virtual data room (VDR) for mergers & acquisitions. A VDR enables businesses to share information during the due diligence process in a secure online space. He also founded Membly, a platform which allows individuals to capture and share memories, including pictures, notes, videos, or audio in a secure and private way.
Thomas holds a BA from the University of Virginia in Cognitive Science and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Chief Financial Officer
Tom Donnelly is Chief Financial Officer at Datasite, a position he has held since 2015.
Tom is responsible for overseeing all the financial planning and analysis for the company. This includes all financial reports required for both internal and external stakeholders, managing cash flow, budgeting and analyzing return on investments.
Prior to joining Datasite, Tom held a variety of financial leadership roles, most recently as chief executive officer and director of OptiMine Software, Inc. Tom has extensive executive experience in the technology sector, with expertise in operations, strategy and business development, financial planning, accounting and compliance, specializing in high-growth, high-technology companies.

Chief Human Resources Officer
Deb LaMere is Chief Human Resources Officer at Datasite.
Deb is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s human resources strategy, including talent management, leadership development and compensation and benefits. She works closely with leadership around the globe to build a culture that attracts, retains and develops top talent.
Prior to joining Datasite in 2019, Deb served in senior employee engagement roles at Ceridian, the cloud-based global human capital management (HCM) software company. These roles included Employee Engagement Product Manager for key modules of Ceridian’s cloud HRIS system and Vice President, Employee Experience & Culture. Prior to that, she was a Senior HR Consultant at Lawson Software and held several HR leadership roles at Allina Hospitals & Clinics in Minneapolis.
Deb holds an MA in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Minnesota, and a BA in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.

Chief Revenue Officer, Americas
Mark Williams is Chief Revenue Officer for the Americas at Datasite, a position he has held since 2015.
In his role, Mark is responsible for setting and executing the sales strategy across the region, including leading over 130 sales representatives and sales leaders across the United States, Canada and Latin America. He is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Prior to joining Datasite, Mark held several sales leadership roles in a variety of SaaS companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at SmartFocus, a cloud-based digital marketing platform provider. Prior, Mark was Vice President of Sales for Kno, an Andreesen Horowitz backed Education Technology startup, acquired by Intel.

Chief Revenue Officer, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Merlin Piscitelli is Chief Revenue Officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Datasite.
In his role, Merlin is responsible for setting and managing the sales strategy and its deployment across this diverse and complex region, including coordinating and managing teams and sales representatives across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is based in London.
Merlin has been driving the M&A digital transformation in EMEA since joining Datasite in 2006. He has served in several leadership roles within the organization, including Head of Sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Director of Sales, helping drive technological innovation and deal velocity across the region.
Prior to joining Datasite, Merlin served as a sales and business development professional for Infotrieve, now part of Copyright Clearance Center, a global licensing technology content solutions business and document delivery provider.

Senior Vice President, Global Accounting and Tax
Janet Hermann is Senior Vice President, Global Accounting and Tax at Datasite.
Janet has principal oversight of the company’s global accounting functions, including all aspects of accounting operations, transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
Prior to joining Datasite in 2019, Janet held various leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, a large global healthcare insurer, and at Zinpro Corporation, a global feed additive manufacturer. Throughout her career, Janet has built high performing accounting organizations in businesses large and small, bringing a wealth of experience in both highly technical and strategic financial leadership.
She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an Accountancy degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Patty Elias is Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Datasite, a position she has held since February 2020.
Patty is a member of the company's Executive Committee. In her role as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary she is responsible for overseeing Datasite's worldwide legal affairs including business, litigation, intellectual property, and corporate matters. Patty has over twenty years of experience in the technology and software sector.
Prior to joining Datasite, she worked as General Counsel for International Decision Systems, a provider of software and services to the global asset finance industry. Before that, Patty was Associate General Counsel for Infor Inc, a global software provider. She has also served as General Counsel at SoftBrands, Inc. and Abaton.com and held senior legal roles at Lawson Software and Health Systems Integration, Inc.

General Manager, Firmex
Mark Wright is General Manager of Firmex.
In his role, Mark leads Firmex’s marketing and communications strategy. Mark comes to Firmex from Adenyo, where he led the development of the global Marketing team through to the company`s sale to Motricity in 2011.
Prior to joining Adenyo, Mark was the Director of Global Marketing Operations at Research in Motion, where he drove the expansion of RIM’s global field marketing and training programs, led the direct marketing practice, and pioneered RIM’s web and social media analytics discipline.
Mark holds a degree in film studies from Queen’s University and a master of business administration with a concentration in strategic marketing from McMaster University.

Senior Vice President, Corporate Development
Charles Shannon is SVP of Corporate Development of Datasite, a position he has held since 2019.
Charles is a senior executive leveraging extensive transaction and integration experience to source, plan and lead strategic acquisitions and investments on behalf of Datasite. Although sourcing strategic partnerships is also part of his role, Charles’ focus is to drive proprietary and synergistic inorganic growth opportunities for the company.
Charles joined in July 2019 creating and launching Datasite’s corporate development department and played a key role in the successful sale to CapVest Partners in December 2020.
Prior to joining Datasite, Charles has spent the last twenty years buying and selling software companies. Charles spent the first ten years of his career as a software M&A investment banker and the last ten years holding key strategic roles in private equity, venture capital and technology focused corporate entities. Charles was a loyal 19-year customer of Datasite prior to joining the company.
Charles holds a BA in Corporate Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and is a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Dan Hostetter is Managing Director, Global Head of Strategic Accounts, a position he has held since 2016.
Dan is responsible for leading and growing Datasite’s top investment banking and private equity relationships globally. As a 20+ year veteran, Dan played a key role building Datasite’s business around the globe starting our offices in Paris, London and Hong Kong. Dan has held many senior roles in Europe, Asia and the US and has been important driver of growth and transformation to a global leader in M&A SaaS technology with our largest advisory clients.
Prior to joining Datasite, Dan worked at Citibank in Paris and holds a BA of Economics from Boston College. Dan lives in Boston with his wife and three children and stays active as a Trustee at Suffield Academy in Connecticut as well as at other professional and community organizations in New England.
